Is it a whipped body butter?
No. It's solid, raw shea butter, not whipped and not a lotion. It feels firm in the jar and melts quickly once warmed between your fingers.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes, in a thin layer, ideally at night over your moisturizer. If your skin is acne-prone, start on a small area and use it sparingly.
Does it have a scent?
There's no added fragrance. Unrefined shea has a light, natural nutty scent.
Is it good for sensitive skin?
With one ingredient and no added fragrance, it's a simple option for sensitive skin. Patch test before first use, as with any new product.
Why does it look grainy sometimes?
That's real shea. It can form small grains when temperatures change. It doesn't affect quality, and the grains melt as soon as you warm the balm in your hands.
